We’ve designed motion to make it easy for attendees to connect and engage.
New to motion is the ABQuirky experience. This unique idea was suggested by our very own motion advisory board. They told us one of their favorite things about coming to motion – is experiencing ABQ – and all of its quirkiness! We’ll make it easy.
The first ABQuirky experience takes place Saturday evening. Get ready for a trip to Balloon Fiesta Park to enjoy the Night Magic Glow™ + *AfterGlow™ Fireworks Show. With over 700 hot air balloons, The ABQ International Balloon Fiesta is definitely unique to ABQ! The cost is only $30 per person and includes transportation and admission.
Want more? A motion attendee favorite, it’s a trip to the historic Nob Hill District where you can enjoy great dining, unique shops, and an evening of fun and outstanding ABQuirkiness. We’ll be providing transportation throughout the evening – even after the Balloon Glow. The cost – only $10.
And, for the die hards, head over to Burt’s Tiki Lounge – just around the corner from Hotel Andaluz and enjoy a nightcap with speakers and fellow attendees. Guaranteed to be one of the ABQuirkiest places you’ll experience!
Want even more hot-air-balloon-filled-skies? Head out to Balloon Fiesta Park for the Farewell Mass Ascension early Sunday morning. To participate in this event, reserve your seat online at Tour New Mexico. Don’t worry, we won’t start the show without you! motion starts at 10:00am on Sunday, so you’ll have plenty of time to get one last balloon fix.
Then, Sunday evening join us at iBiza – Hotel Andaluz’s rooftop bar to enjoy entertainment by Dj Hijinx from Denver, and more fabulous motion networking.
Monday evening, after the close of The Adobe Post Show, take part in another Nob Hill adventure. Grab some dinner and then head over to The Guild Cinema for a special screening of SAMSARA. Filmed over five years in twenty-five countries, SAMSARA is a new, non-verbal documentary from filmmakers Ron Fricke and Mark Magidson, the creators of BARAKA. The cost is only $25 and includes roundtrip transportation, a movie pass, and a variety of discount coupons for dining in Nob Hill. Make an evening of it!
