Marcel Ziul is an Emmy nominated visual artist. He was born in Brazil and after graduating in 1999, began his career in Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil. He worked for some of the best studios in the city including Blackmaria and Mixer Group.
In 2006, Marcel was nominated in four categories for MTV VMB’s award for Best Art Director for three music videos: Charlie Brown Jr. (Ela Vai Voltar), Massacration and Pitty. That same year he won the “Profissionais Do Ano” for two spots created for the Puc Minas campaign.
Marcel moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to take a position with Belief Design and two years later decided to take the freelance route. He’s since worked with major influential studios: Prologue, Stardust, Zoic Studios, Troiks, Shilo, Perception NYC, and more. in 2009 he took home the Silver ProMAX BDA for his rebrand of the Bio Channel as Art Director and Lead Animator.
He is currently involved in projects for ESPN Football, Skysports Italia, Fox Sports, Copa America (the largest soccer event in the Americas), National Geographic Channel, ABC, NBC, OWN, Ford, Apple, and more.
