Ziad Seirafi is Founder and CEO of Cosmic Forces, bringing the talented wizards of visual effects and animation of Hollywood film and television hits to the mobile space. Cosmic Forces is creating Mobile Apps and Games, Content Development, and Animation. Our talent that has achieved multiple Oscar® and Emmy award wins.
Ziad is a 22 year veteran of the film industry. He began his career in 1991 as a post production supervisor for Tales from the Crypt for HBO, a great opportunity to work with some legends in cinema such as Joel Silver, Richard Donner, Robert Zemeckis, John Frankenheimer, William Friedkin to name a few. Following that he teamed up with visual effects supervisor Joe Bauer while working on Star Trek Voyager. Ziad and Joe helped build Modern VideoFilms’ visual effects department while working on feature films for Sony’s Mandaly Entertainment and Columbia Pictures.
As a Digital Artist, he was a member of the Oscar winning team for The Golden Compass and member of 3 other Oscar nominated teams for Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End and Poseidon. His last project at SPI Albuquerque was on the recently released blockbuster Men in Black 3.
Ziad founded and successfully ran a VFX Boutique in the late ‘90s that pioneered the digital optical process that changed the post production industry. The company was also involved in the first usage of desktop PC for visual effects.
